In October 2009 KangaNews changed the format of its suite of AU Domestic League Tables to reflect a new trend in the domestic market this year - bookbuilt deals from Australian commonwealth and semi-government issuers.

In the past, deals from these issuers were excluded from the League Tables as they were done exclusively on a tender basis. During this year, however, there has been a mixture of tender and syndicated transactions from this sector. As a result, KangaNews has introduced a new League Table for the domestic market to include the syndicated deals from the Australian Commonwealth and semi-government issuers, and changed the format of the old domestic league tables. 

The AU Domestic League Tables now consist of the following:

Domestic Corporate Issuers League Tables
(deals from domestic FIs and corporates - including sovereign-guaranteed deals from FIs)

Domestic Sovereign/Agency Issuers League Tables
(deals done on a syndicated basis by Australian Commonwealth and semi-government issuers, plus other domestic agency issuers such as EFIC, AusPost and Airservices Australia)

All Domestic Vanilla Issuers League Tables
(combines the above two League Tables)

All-AUD Domestic Market Vanilla League Tables
(combines the Kangaroo, Domestic Corporate and Domestic Sovereign/Agency issuers)
