Roundtable discussion: Australasian frequent borrowers in the international capital markets On September 23 a group of Australasia’s heavyweight sovereign and agency issuers, as well as one of the big four banks and the biggest Kangaroo issuer, met in London to discuss their economies and individual credits with European investors. The discussion, sponsored by Westpac Institutional Bank, reveals that investors welcome the diversity of issuance from these borrowers and recognise the strength of the Australian economy.
