KANGANEWS AWARDS 2014: WINNERS ANNOUNCED

KangaNews Awards methodology

Since their inception at the end of 2007, KangaNews's annual awards have always been based purely on the votes of market participants. We do not employ an awards committee or ask for supporting documentation for nominations. Instead, we conduct a thorough and intensive polling of debt market users in Australia and New Zealand.

Issuers, investors and intermediaries are invited to vote for the best houses, deals and intermediaries in the year, on a confidential basis. In 2014, more than 450 votes were received from participants in the Australian and New Zealand debt markets, and global market participants with an interest in Australasian issuance. This shatters the previous record for votes, and makes the awards an even more valuable and accurate recognition of market acclaim.

For the first time, the KangaNews Awards 2014 includes a clutch of categories recognising the buy-side firms which have contributed most to the markets in Australia and New Zealand this year. KangaNews sought votes from issuers and a range of intermediaries to judge which investors have been most engaged and responsive in rates and credit markets.

KANGANEWS GALA AWARDS DINNER: MARCH 17 2015

Market participants are invited to celebrate this year's winners at the KangaNews Gala Awards Dinner, to be held at Doltone House in Sydney on March 17 2015. Tables for the dinner will go on sale soon. To register your interest or to make an advance booking please email Jeremy Masters: This email address is being protected from spambots.
