KangaNews Awards 2010

KangaNews Awards methodology
Since their inception at the end of 2007, KangaNews's annual awards have been the only laurels given to participants in the Australasian debt markets based purely on peer votes. We do not employ an awards committee or ask for reams of supporting documentation for submissions. Instead, we conduct a thorough and intensive polling of debt market users in Australia and New Zealand.

Issuers, investors and intermediaries are invited to vote for the best houses, deals and intermediaries in the year, on a confidential basis. In 2010 over 100 market participants submitted their votes for the winners of the KangaNews awards. Because of the widescale input from genuine market participants, KangaNews is confident that its annual awards are the best and fairest recognition of excellence that exists in the Australasian debt markets.

KangaNews Gala Awards Dinner: March 14 2011
Market participants are invited to celebrate the best houses, issuers, deals and personalities in the Australian and New Zealand markets at a Gala Awards Dinner to be held in Sydney on March 14 2011.

A proportion of the revenue from this Gala Awards Dinner night will go to the Financial Markets Foundation for Children, whose purpose is the promotion of the health and welfare of children in Australia. The Foundation is supported by members of Australia's financial community, receiving both corporate and individual donations to fund research programmes and a wide range of other projects designed specifically to improve the health, welfare and well-being of the future of Australia – its children.

KangaNews is delighted to announce that Glenn Stevens, Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia and Chairman of the Financial Markets Foundation for Children, will be the guest of honour at the dinner.
