On 10 March, Queensland Treasury Corporation announced a forthcoming series of investor meetings in preparation for a new euro-denominated benchmark deal. If the transaction goes ahead, it will be the first benchmark deal in a foreign currency by an Australian state or territory issuer since New South Wales Treasury Corporation completed a 2039 maturity sterling print in 2009.
