Suncorp Bank has indicated to the market it will be giving up its banking licence within the next few years, as part of its merger with ANZ Banking Group. The prospect of a combined curve and pent-up demand for financial paper is having a positive bearing on demand for Suncorp Bank, according to the issuer, as its market return attracted a largest-ever domestic book.
